This is a rather old picture of the NOrthern Venture. She was constructed in Europe from a T-2 tanker. The stern was cut off and a new forebody constructed. Extra internal bracing was added and the ship saided for Canada. Once there, the internal bracing was removed and the ship began her career as a bulker. Of course, my dad had something to do with this ship. |
